The farm is just over a mile from the Pan-American highway and only 15 minutes to the bustling town of San Isidro de El General. Barely an hour away are some of Costa Rica's most beautiful, unspoiled Pacific beaches. Air service between San Isidro and San José is three times a week and takes under 30 minutes on Sansa.

In total, the property is nearly 3 hectares in area (just over 7 acres). The property includes fruit trees, bananas, plantains, OG coffee and ample quantities of lush secondary forest including a year-round spring.

A lot segregation will be completed shortly dividing the property into a 1.7 acre lot with the home and workshop and a 5.4 acre lot with ready-to-go building pads and an already built cabina with outdoor kitchen. Both lots have access to pure, fresh water that emerges above the building sites from a granite batholith known locally as Las Piedras (The Stones).

The property is regularly visited by a large variety of tropical birds and animals including toucans, mot-mots, hawks, tolomucos, coatis, anteaters, armadillos, porcupines and tepezquintle.

Property segregation into Lot A (w/house) and Lot B (cabina and building pads)

Lot A

This .67 hectare lot includes the 1990 sq. ft. two-level house built in 2009, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, upstairs family room, a balcony and 2 patios. Construction is concrete block walls, steel-framed roof and aluminum windows and doors. The interior features cathedral ceilings and custom tropical wood finishes throughout.

The property has approx. 20 fruit trees, a large permanent vivero and extensive decorative gardens. Below the house is a 800 sq. ft. workshop, 300 sq. ft. of which is secure. Lot A has a large public road frontage, which facilitates additional subdivision, if desired. The total size of this lot is 6,728 sq. m. or approx. 1.7 acres.

Lot B has two large approx. 300 sq. mtr. building plantels made in 2008. The lot is about 60% secondary forest and has a seasonal creek running through it. There are two secondary, undeveloped building sites suitable for homes or cabina, one of which is at the highest point of the property on top of a portion of aforementioned batholith that runs across the top of the finca. That portion of the lot is reached by dirt road.  Adjacent to the building lots is a 200 sq. ft. cabina with outdoor kitchen and bath. The total size of Lot B is 22,000 sq. mtrs. or approx. 5.4 acres.

Prices in USD

We are asking $85,000 for Lot B and $229,000 for Lot A. We may consider an offer on the entire finca as well.

Prices are based on cash payout and do not include buyer's agent commissions or buyer's lawyer fees if you use either of those.
